For those who are less familiar with the background: The Houthis are the Saudis' biggest problem.
The Huthi tribe, which captured the capital Sanaa from the pro-Saudi government with the support of Iran and Hezbollah, became the Saudis' biggest enemy when Saudi Arabia began actively attacking the Houthis in 2015.
Years of fighting, thousands of Yemenis killed and destruction - none of this has stopped the Huthis from continuing to fight against the kingdom in the north. Only recently have the Houthis and the Saudis worked out a "peace agreement" (which has not yet been finally signed). In the shadow of the war in Gaza, the tension between the Houthis - who accuse the Saudis of collaborating with Israel and the US - and the Saudis has flared up again.
The Houthis and their Iranian supporters are therefore the Saudi kingdom's biggest problems. This is a clear common interest of Saudi Arabia and Israel. Add to this the fact that the Saudis understand that a defensive alliance with the Americans is about normalizing relations between Riyadh and Jerusalem, and you get a map of interests that can improve Israel's strategic position.
