As we pay our respects to our fallen soldiers for their sacrifices on this Memorial Day, as we think about the battles they fought and the evils they faced, we honor them as true heroes of freedom. They stood strong and fought in our place, paid our way with their lives. Nobody knows the pain of that loss as much as their families and communities. We also honor them for their courage and sacrifices.
On this Memorial Day, please also remember Ashli Babbitt, Air Force veteran and J6 Patriot, who gave her life on January 6, 2021, standing for your freedom against a corrupt government. Like so many other soldiers who fought in foreign wars, she had been deployed in the past, but Ashli’s final stand was inside the Capitol in Washington DC. Add her to the list of veterans who died for our freedoms. So we honor Ashli along with the other heroes who have died on our behalf, and will not forget their sacrifices. We also honor Ashli’s family, Aaron, her husband, and Micki, her mom, who stands in Ashli’s place on Freedom Corner for our J6 Hostages, and has for the past 2 years. We honor you for your strength and determination to see that everyone finds justice.
