8 Christians killed; 160 Christians kidnapped after Islamic militants attacked a village in Niger state.
On Friday May 24th, 300 armed men stormed the village of Kuchi, kidnapping mostly women and children.
8 villagers were slaughtered during the attack.
Attacks in the region have become widespread with dozens of Christian villages targeted by groups including Boko Haram.
More than 8,000 Christian’s were killed in 2023 and an estimated 62,000 have been killed since the year 2000.
18,000 church’s have been attacked or destroyed in the country.
