The Gospel Daily - Constant Praying Prepares Us
Today's Verse:
“Pray without ceasing” - 1 Thessalonians 5:17
No matter where we are, or what we are doing, praying spontaneously is a normal occurrence for a Believer. We know God hears us and responds. His Son Jesus set the perfect example of how to live a prayer-filled life, a life we should follow and emulate. During the Messiah’s earthly stay, He was in constant communication with God. Although praying may not change the circumstances we may presently be in, it can be preparing us or get us ready to be involved in God’s plan. We need to remember prayers are answered according to God’s will and in His time. Rather than focusing on what we want to happen try keeping an open mind. Continue praying in preparation for your prayers to be answered according to God’s will. - Commentary by Mark Natividad
Today's Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for encouraging and helping us to always go to You in prayer. Thank You for always giving us what You know is the very best answer to our prayers. Amen.
